Once upon a time, there lived a very beautiful, yet sad princess named
Roopshri. Many princes and knights tried to approach her and make her laugh,
but nobody could.
And so, two years passed. The King set a test for Roopshri’s marriage. She would always
say
“No dad! I hate him!” And so, she remained single till she was 50.
Then one
day, a brave knight and a handsome prince came to seek her hand for marriage
together. The prince said, “ He is a drunk man. He will make you drunk too.’’
Thinking so that he was saying the truth, he married Roopshri to the prince. The prince was actually a
devil! He gave the poor princess a curse! He made her a stone!
20 years passed
of the princess being cursed. Then, one day, the brave knight, whom she had denied, came to save her! He did everything he had to. And as quick as a jiffy,
Roopshri was changed back into her normal form. She divorced the devil and
married the knight. Then they worshipped Goddess Saraswati. And then she blessed
them with 2 daughters and a son. They thanked her and lived happily ever after.
